Step 1: Cut a length of leather cord 20 1/16” long. To condition the leather, soak it in a cup of water for about a minute or two. Remove the cord from the water and while the cord is still wet, massage a small amount of Micro-Glaze™ into the cord. Gently stretch and straighten as you do. Set aside. Attach 2 end caps to a jump ring (to make a ‘double end cap jump ring’). Repeat. Attach a jump ring to an end cap.

Step 2: Open a jump ring and add an s-hook and an end cap. Thread the previously attached jump ring (in step 3) through the s-hook opening (to make a ‘closure piece’).

Step 3: Cut the length of cord as follows: four lengths 1 5/8” & six lengths of 2 ¼”. Put a little Leather Adhesive inside one of the end caps on a double end cap jump ring. Take two of the 1 5/8” lengths and bend it in half so that it forms a loop and all four of the ends are together. Insert them into the end cap. (tip: cut a tiny wedge off the sides of the end of each cords if necessary to make it fit.) Always wipe off any excess Leather Adhesive outside the end caps or on the cords.

Step 4: Put a little Leather Adhesive inside one of the end caps of the remaining double end cap jump ring. Take the remaining two 1 5/8” lengths, thread it through the loops you made previously. Bend it in half so that the leather pieces are linked together and the ends of the second loop are lined up and insert them into the end cap. Put Leather Adhesive inside one of the empty end caps attached to the interlocking loops. Insert the ends of one side of three of the 2 ¼” lengths. Repeat on the other side, using the remaining three 2 ¼” lengths of cord.

Step 5: Put Leather Adhesive into the end caps of the closure piece. Secure the cord ends inside each end cap. Gently curve the cords to conform your wrist shape. Let dry.
