It’s that time of the year where everything changes and the Moon somehow gets bigger. Being without power on my island makes you appreciate how beautiful the sky is at night and how bright the moon can shine over total darkness. I thought the new stamp set Oops oh well by Dina Wakley looked like pretty moon faces and that sparked my imagination. I’m a big girl and I love big pendants and the good thing is Ice Resin is so lightweight that it really lets you play big!
Step 1: I wanted to create three different pendants because the faces depict different moods so I stacked them to see which one would be the biggest to create my mold.
Step 2: Then I opened my jars of molding putty to wrap it around the stamp. The molding putty won’t harm your stamp at all once the 10 min curing time happens your stamp will be good as new! I used about half of each jar, it’s a big stamp Mix them well until there are no veins
Step 3: Once you get a full grey coverage wrap it around the stamp to create your mold and let it cure!
Step 4: While your mold cures you can go ahead and stamp your faces on Ice Resin Tissue Paper. The new Ranger Archival cleaner will leave them brand new!
Step 6: Cut out the faces and place in the mold. I decided to be adventurous and try to see if I could put my stamped image while the resin cured. I also wanted to add the sparkle of the crystal opal, moon dust if you will!
Step 7: After the pendant cures take it out and punch a hole to add the jump ring.
And you’re ready to enjoy your new piece or pieces!!!
