Step 1: To start, decide on what you want your coasters to say. I made my coasters five tiles across and four rows down. Cut a piece of adhesive-backed cork a little larger than the coaster and start placing the tiles in the upper left corner of the cork.

Step 2: Once you have put down all your tiles, trim off the overlapping cork edges. To protect the bottom of the coasters, cover them with painter’s tape, and using an ICE Resin brush, apply a thin coat of Paper Sealer onto the top and sides of the tiles. Let dry. Apply another thin coat of Paper Sealer and let dry again.

Step 3: Mix ICE Resin® according to instructions. After you mix the resin let if rest for a bit, until most of the bubbles disperse. Place the coasters on a Studio Sheet and spoon the resin evenly onto all four tiles and apply a small amount with the ICE Resin Brush on the sides. Let dry overnight.

Step 4: Mix another 1-1/2 ounce batch of Resin and apply evenly to the tiles until you get a doming effect. If any Resin spills over the edges onto the tape, wipe it off with a baby wipe while it is still wet. Let dry overnight.

Step 5: Remove the tape. If you have any excess resin on the sides, you can cut it off with a scissor or use a fine grit sandpaper to smooth the edge. Let coasters cure for 72 hours before using.

I hope you will give this a try and have some fun with it. Cheers for now!
