  • Summer is coming and the beach is calling! Even if you’re far away you can create your own little ocean to carry with you in your hands! Here in my island we have the Atlantic Ocean in the north shore and the Caribbean Sea in the south. You’ll see that reflected in my choice of colors.

Step 1: Mix ICE Resin® according to instructions. I started timidly preparing 10ml and pretty soon had the reality check of preparing the whole stirring cup!

Step 2: Pour the ICE Resin into your molds and let 2 hours pass by. Scary I know!

Step 3: Once that settles for a couple of hours add the opals and a few drops of color to the almost settled resin.

Step 4: Grab a wooden skewer and begin pushing the color in the resin. I warn you it’ll be a messy goey mess!

Step 5: My purpose and intention was to mimic when the waves crash and move in the ocean. Since the mold is clear you’ll be able to manipulate the waves!

You have to have faith, this is the best testament to how self healing Ice Resin is!!!

Step 6: Repeat with next color, this one is turquoise.

Step 7: This is how they look side by side, the turquoise was the second one and the cobalt already healed!

Step 8: While they dry stamp and cut your octopus, it’ll be great fun to have those tentacles lurking by.

Step 9: Once the resin cures, pop your bangles from the mold and prepare a very small batch of resin to attach the stamped images, be creative while wrapping them and use your stirring spoon to help you flatten the paper to your bracelet.

Step 10: An extra thing you could do would be to paint the tentacles with Alcohol Ink! Can you guess which bangle represents the Atlantic and which one the Caribbean? Let me know if you do!
