  • This summer I had the opportunity to visit Barcelona. Gaudí’s inspiration is everywhere and it just fills your souls with magic. I wanted to create a piece to remind me of my visit to the gorgeous Casa Battló. I thought I could use ICE Resin enamels to help me achieve the look.

Here’s my inspiration from Gaudí, gorgeous right!!! He recycled old building tiles and glass so ahead of his time!

Step 1: Gather your supplies and using a sharpie draw around your blank to create your mosaic. Use ICE Resin tints to paint in some of your circles.

Step 2: Once your painting is complete begin painting enamel medium and add the chosen enamels, melt each time you add a new color using your heat gun.

Step 3: Continue until you’ve covered the entire piece with enamels, I used the ivory one as grout. Bend an ICE Resin Wire to create your bale. Prepare a small batch of ICE Resin and pour to secure the wire and protect your enamel work. Once dry, add a double length of ICE Resin leather to make a necklace, tie the ends together and it’s complete!
