ICE Resin Charms by Linda Larsen
You can easily add color to your ICE Resin® as long as you use dry or oil-based products. We love to color our resin after thoroughly mixing it by adding a tiny amount of oil paint color on the tip of a toothpick. Remember the kindergarten saying when adding color to your resin: A drop is a lot.
If you choose to custom-mix your color, please do so on a paint palette or a paper plate BEFORE adding it to your mixed ICE Resin. Adding two colors to your mixed resin can create a cool effect when you wish to experiment artistically, but to ensure a consistent color throughout your batch of resin you will want to first premix you colors.
There are craft colorants from other manufacturers available on the market. However, we do not recommend using them with ICE Resin, as we cannot guarantee the reaction with our formula. If you wish to add color, please follow the steps above. Another added bonus of using oil-based paints is the strong color pigment. You will easily achieve the look you wish with using a very small amount of color.

You can also add a little glitz to your project with glitter, mica, or a variety of common kitchen spices. These types of dry mix-ins can be added to your thoroughly mixed batch of ICE Resin® or sprinkled directly into your project after pouring.
