You need to have very accurate measurements of equal amounts of Part A Resin to Part B Hardener.
Mix at least 1/2 ounce or half of the measuring cup in order to have enough of both parts to fully activate its chemistry.

Make two marks on your measuring cup with a permanent marker. One line for your Resin measurement and the other for your Hardener. Make sure each mark is the same amount! |

Snip the top off your dispensing caps and put them on your Hardener and Resin bottles. |

Measure Part A resin first, carefully to the first line you’ve drawn on your measuring cup. Make note where it is on the line as it settles, be exact. |

Then Part B hardener, to the second line you drew on your cup. Again, be exact. |

Mix well by scraping the bottom and sides for at least 2 minutes. Mix until ALL striations are mixed in. |

When ALL striations are mixed in, put the mixed resin aside for five minutes for the bubbles to settle.Step 6
To pour into an open-backed bezel, cut a piece of contact paper and press your bezel firmly to it. You may want to tape it to your work surface. After you’ve made sure your bezel is firmly adhered, begin gently pouring in your resin.6.1Doming resin
If you want a domed top, pour to almost full, let set overnight and then pour a second layer, carefully doming it to magnify the contents. After you pour the resin and are satisfied with everything its a good idea to put a warm desk light over it for an hour or so. This helps the bubbles come up easier by GENTLY warming it. Do not use a heat gun or a torch/flame as you can ruin your project. Too much heat will make it yellow and bubble.

USEFUL LIFE
This batch will be useful for 30 to 45 minutes. It will then begin to set and must be discarded. If you feel it heat up it should be discarded. All mixing materials and cups must be discarded after the “batch life” is over and should not be mixed with another batch.
ADDING OBJECTS
When you’re adding objects to your bezel, pour a thin layer of resin into the bottom of your bezel, add your items. You can move them around with your stir stick if necessary. Then continue pouring your resin to completely cover your objects. Come back after 20-30 minutes and poke around with a toothpick or peice of wire to make sure no bubbles are caught under your inclusions.
