  • This summer I got to experience Capri and Anacapri through the eyes of my best friend. He is a world traveler and enjoying the sights through his knowledge was beyond amazing. I wanted to give him something that I know he will treasure and in keeping with our daily traditions remind him of our great time together. You’ll need travel ephemera, I used bus tickets and a sprig of lavender from his home in Greece.

ICE Resin Travel Souvenir Necklace Step 1

Step 1: Mix ICE Resin® according to instructions, allow the indicated wait time. Place a lavender sprig in the large mold and pour resin over it until the mold is full. Fill the small circle mold with ICE Resin.

ICE Resin Travel Souvenir Necklace Step 2

Step 2: Use the Industrial Bezel Template to measure and cut the ephemera for both bezels. It was very important to me to keep the part that said Anacapri visible because that’s where we stayed. The template being clear helps you in your designs!

ICE Resin Travel Souvenir Necklace Step 3

Step 3: Coat the front, back and sides of the ephemera with ICE Resin® Paper Sealer and allow to dry. Then use the Paper Sealer to secure it inside the pendants.

ICE Resin Travel Souvenir Necklace Step 4

Step 4: After it cures, pop the molded lavender sprig into the Rectangle Industrial Bezel.

Step 5: Paint a small coat of resin to the top and sides to make it clear again and to help secure it in place! I just LOVE that reveal moment!!!

Step 6: Repeat with the small round pendant.

ICE Resin Travel Souvenir Necklace Step 7

Step 7: Attach your pendants with some jump rings, add a leather cord, and you will be ready to wear your travel memories or share them with someone special!
