Ice Resin Everything Old is New Again necklace

I am so fortunate to have friends and family who will gift me buts and bobs. They will hand me a baggie and say “I know you can do something with this.” Recently, I was given a large collection of vintage clip earrings. I was full of excitement because I knew I could make these “new” again.

Step 1: Working on an ICE Resin Studio Sheet, begin with a Milan Antique Bronze Rectangle Bezel. Apply ICE Resin Iced Enamels Medium to the bezel with an ICE Resin Brush. Then add Ivory ICE Resin Enamels to the bezel. Heat with Ranger Heat it Craft Tool until melted. Sprinkle some German Glass Glitter into the bezel. Next, take your chosen earrings and remove the clip from the back. The clip can easily be snapped off with wire cutters. Audition the earrings on top of the bezel until you find the position you like.

Mix ICE Resin® according to instructions, and allow the indicated wait time. Without the earring in place, fill the bezel about halfway then lay the earring on top of bezel.

Step 2: Continue to drizzle ICE Resin into the bezel until the resin reaches the back of the earring. Allow to cure for three days. Once cured the earrings will be anchored to the bezel.

Step 3: For the finishing touches, use headpin and various lengths of chain to form a tassel. Add beads and attach to the bottom of the bezel. A moonstone rosary chain completes the look. Dreams can come true and everything old is new again.
